Very excited that not one, but two of my watercolour paintings have been selected for the full online exhibition of the Patchings Festival of Art, which will be shown at www.painters-online.co.uk from 10am on 9 July 2020, when the prize winners will also be announced.
The competition looks for the best two-dimensional works in any media, including drawings, paintings, printmaking and digital artwork and my paintings have been shortlisted for The Artist category, for artwork by professional artists.
Usually this annual competition held at Patchings Art Centre in Nottingham showcases around 140 paintings in two separate galleries and is a highlight of the summer for artists.
Sadly though, this year due to Covid-19, the Festival of Art can’t take place, so selected works will be shown online.
