Nigel Wade is a watercolour artist based in Kent, who employs a somewhat unusual style for this medium that he likes to call “watercolour realism”.

His particular interest is his own take on “Hyperrealism”, the creation of highly detailed, realistic images, with a strong focus on the use of light and colour.

While he tackles a range of subjects, he is known for his naturalistic landscapes, seascapes and architectural subjects.
