Having spent my career in retail, on retirement I decided to go back to my first love, Art. I studied History of Art and Architecture at degree level, and at the time became very interested in the Pre-Raphaelites and the English landscape artists.
Later on, I was drawn towards Hyperrealism – or my version of it which I like to call “Watercolour Realism” and this has all influenced my style in producing naturalistic landscapes and seascapes.

My watercolour paintings tend to be A2, A3 or A4 size, but I can of course undertake other sizes, even miniatures. I use high quality watercolour paper and paints.
I work with an excellent framer, Colin Hales, whom I recommend strongly – please see the section on Picture Framing.
You can find my biography in full on the Painters Online Website, here.
I have had pictures for sale in several art galleries and I am currently exhibiting with the prestigious Kent Painters Group. https://kentpaintersgroup.co.uk/
